The Mt. Uniacke Recreation Strategy for the Municipality of East Hants was led by WSP with Nustadia Recreation Inc. serving as the operational and business consultant. The study evaluated community needs, existing facilities, and recreation service delivery across Districts 8 and 9 to support future planning and investment. Through a comprehensive engagement process involving residents, municipal staff, and community organizations, the strategy identified priorities around accessibility, inclusivity, infrastructure renewal, and program awareness. The resulting framework provides clear guidance for facility development, programming expansion, and partnership opportunities to strengthen recreation in the growing Mt. Uniacke area.
