Nick Frizzell

General Manager, Red Ball Internet Centre, Moncton

As General Manager of the Red Ball Internet Centre in Moncton, N.B, Mr. Frizzell holds management responsibilities, marketing initiatives and strategic direction for 6 ice pads, 40 + sports fields within the City of Moncton, facility community rooms, 2 restaurants and a cafe.

Having joined Nustadia Recreation Inc. in 2008, he has enjoyed many roles at the Moncton facility which include, marketing, advertising, special events, customer relationship management as well as overall arena management as the Assistant General Manager, previous to his promotion to General Manager.

Prior to joining NRI, Mr. Frizzell has done extensive strategic consulting work with the City of Fredericton, Corporate Wellness Plan, Town of Oromocto, Leisure Services Marketing Plan and with the Government of New Brunswick as technology support for the New Brunswick Regional Wellness Networks. Research interests include Private Public Partnerships for municipal recreation departments, marketing for leisure services, strategic planning in the recreation setting, Non-Profit organizations and motivations and accountability of board members as well as at-risk youth and their need for recreation.

An alumnus of both the University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University in Fredericton, N.B., Mr. Frizzell holds a Masters degree in Business Administration, a Masters degree in Sports and Recreation Administration and a Bachelors of Arts degree with a major in Criminology. He resides in Moncton with his wife Lisa.
