Corporate GoalsIn the short term, Nustadia Recreation Inc. (NRI) will be focused on the consolidation of the operating and development practices, the growth of the company through new operating and development contracts, and re-establishing and renewing their current community partnerships. "The immediate goal will be to establish a formal, consistent, economical, 'best-practice' approach to development and operations. Through consolidation, NRI will be able to reduce the overall cost of the combined operations while improving the level of service."The new company has formally acquired the obligations of the existing agreements as they relate to the operations of the Moncton, Hamilton and Peterborough facilities. NRI will establish new operating contracts and agreements that reflect the terms and conditions of operations with the individual single purpose companies currently providing those services. The immediate goal will be to establish a formal, consistent, economical, 'best practice' approach to delivery of services. This document will include input from all partners, key tenants in the facility, and major user groups in all the buildings. It will be an important tool in NRI's marketing campaign, for both existing clientele and for NRI to acquire new operating contracts. NRI has consolidated the operations with respect to staffing, purchasing, reporting, scheduling and all aspects of the current operating entities. Through this consolidation, NRI anticipates that they will be able to reduce the overall cost of the combined operations while improving the level of service. Standardization of systems will result in further savings and accuracy in reporting. Interaction and communication between staff in the different facilities allows NRI to provide a high level of service to the facility users. NRI is structured so that personnel providing similar services are integrated and support systems are in place to provide assistance when required. The senior management team undertakes full responsibility for the relationships and partnership agreements in each community. Senior staff are individually responsible for specific relationships within the community partnership structure, as well as accountability for business related issues. Nustadia Recreation Inc., has an ongoing marketing program with over 20 potential projects identified for the next three years. Most of these prospects include potential operating contracts as well as full development services. NRI will undertake to realize these and other prospects in a seamless transition. The senior management team of NRI includes the primary marketing personnel from Nustadia Developments. This is the same team that has been responsible for the successful completion of the developments and agreements in this field to date, yielding an average of over $1,000,000 per year of revenue for the Cochrane Group over a five-year period. Nustadia has developed key strategic alliances and a unique approach to these community partnerships that provides NRI with a distinct advantage in the competitive process. NRI will also be poised to take advantage of a new trend in the municipal recreation field: outsourcing arena facility management contracts. Throughout the country there are arena management contracts currently out for tender, many of which are newly constructed or renovated facilities of different types. With a track record of several community facilities currently under contract, NRI will be one of the most qualified vendors for these requests. The final goal in the short term will be to provide investment capital; needed for limited equity investment in the new development projects. This capital will be offered within municipal and selected private partnerships on a preferred return basis. NRI would consider investment partners that provide significant related resources as well as capital in order to enhance our development capacity. NRI will evolve into a major facility management and development corporation over the next five years. The short-term focus will be on the Canadian multi-pad arena and indoor soccer marketplace; for development and operations. NRI will undertake spectator arena projects / contracts on a selective basis in the North American market. Nustadia Recreation Inc. long-term goals will be to:
