At a 133,000 square feet, this complex will house such amenities as a twin pad arena with an indoor synthetic playing field, indoor three-lane rubberized walking track, a premier baseball diamond with artificial turf, outdoor football/soccer field with artificial turf, a geothermal field, and the Rotary Club's Miracle League baseball diamond.

The province and federal governments contributed a total of $15.7 million in grants towards the $24 Million dollar project. The Amherstburg Recreation Complex is set to open in the fall 2010. Nustadia Recreation Inc was selected as the Project Development Management Company.
